These comprise some of the best facilities in Florida, including sports courts, resort pool, Children’s splash zone / pad areas pool slides, playgrounds and a gym as well as much more!
This home is a short 2 minute drive from the main resort facilities but coming later in 2022 is a second resort area with Pirate Ship Water Park Area – all included in your stay with Shine Villas!
The primary booker must be 25 years or older (we are unable to accommodate groups of primarily under 25 year olds or those from the local vicinity), however family groups with Children aged 0 -100 are welcome!
This home away from home features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stone counter-tops and stainless-steel appliances. The large open floor concept with a stunning vaulted ceiling allows everyone to be together while cooking, watching TV or dipping in and out of the private pool. The upgraded stair case and balustrade is no accident, designed to further open up the top floor loft area and so whilst everyone will have their own space to enjoy, this really is the family home where the heart is the open plan family ‘zone’. You have found YOUR family vacation home – Congratulations!!

Each bedroom has its own TV. Cable is available in the main living area with smart TVs and high speed wifi available in all other rooms.
This home has its own private pool and spa / hot tub (heating is available as an optional paid extra), covered outdoor sitting space with outside dining space.
Fully equipped laundry and high speed free wi-fi are also included.
Linens, towels, and overnight/starter amenities will set you up before your first trip to restock the large Fridge and Freezer in this self-catering paradise.
The pool in this home can be heated on request and is an optional extra. It can be heated for a minimum of 5 consecutive days ($175 plus tax) and the cost for heat is $35 for each night plus tax. If during the course of your stay, you decide to purchase pool heat, then there is an additional charge to cover the cost of sending out a technician to activate the system which is $40.
Heating can be requested for any length of stay with $175 being the minimum payment (which includes 5 days). We recommend adding pool heat to your reservation during the winter and spring months. Booked at least 24 hours prior to arrival, there will be no activation fee. Where booked later than this or closer to arrival, an activation fee may apply.
A BBQ grill with a new propane tank can be rented for your use please ask for more information about grill options and sizes available for the season.

Naturally, with a modern, high end resort property, a fully-equipped kitchen with appliances stone counter tops and all the appliances you might need for a resort stay. High-speed Internet Wi-Fi access of course and cable TV, linens and towels as well as a starter selection hotel style bathroom amenities to get you going on your self catered trip.
Noteworthy but not exhaustive:-
Entrance to Storey Lake is secured by gate and guardhouse.
The Hideaway - Clubhouse:
There are no fees for clubhouse use (which includes fitness center, resort pool, hot tub, kiddie splash pad, half basketball court, sand volleyball, lazy river, tiki bar and ice cream shop!).
Kayaking and mini-golf are available for a small charge.
Some common questions answered about Storey Lake Resort!
- Are the pools heated year round?
Absolutely! All pools and the lazy river are heated all year round!
- What are the pool hours?
The pools open at 9 am and close at 9 pm daily.
- What are the minimum height restrictions for the waterslides?
Riders must be at least 36 inches tall and only one rider at a time.
- Are there activities at the Resort?
Yes and the activities change monthly!
Does the Mini-Golf and Kayaking cost extra?
- Mini-golf at the time of writing is $5/kids and $7/adults. Kayak rental is $15/30 mins or $20/hour. Sometimes there are specials too.
- What time does the Tiki Bar and Ice Cream Shop open/close?
They open at 11 am and close 8 pm daily.
- What time does the Clubhouse open/close?
9 am – 9 pm daily.
- What time does the Fitness Center open/close?
5 am – 12 am daily.
The occupancy limit for this property applies 24 hours a day and only occupants listed on the agreement may attend the home. All reservations require completion of an electronically signed rental agreement, agreeing to the conditions of the rental which includes that no parties are permitted at this home and the community operates quiet hours outside after 9PM.
ID is required to access the community. Guests are required to provide identification in the form of an ‘ID selfie', confirm the names and ages of all adults who will be attending the property, verify payment method where applicable, as well as completing a signed rental agreement’. Child names (not ages) are also required for entrance into the community. This check-in / pre arrival information must be completed within 24 hours of placing the reservation or prior to arrival (which-ever is the sooner’).
Please note. We welcome seasoned primary bookers/travelers aged 25 and over and their young families in this truly amazing family home! Groups largely consisting of those close to or under 25 or living in the local area are not able to rent this home. A selfie ID is required to rent this home.

Great place! Great location!
by JennaneGreat place! Great location! Conveniently located by shopping, restaurants and Disney Parks! The house is better than pictured as it is a HUGE home. Every room had there own bathroom expect 2 upstairs bedroom sharing a bathroom. It was easy getting in gate with the QR code provided. Oli's instructions were clear and detailed, so if you follow them then there won't be any issues! We were a big family group with 4 kids, a baby and 8 adults, everyone enjoyed the place!

This house was massive!
by TrinaThis house was massive! We came for a family vacation to Disney, every couple had their own space, bathroom and bedroom. I didn’t expect it to be this big. The pool outside was an added bonus, it was a great area to have morning coffee and relax before getting started with the day and a great place to unwind before bed.
We will be back Oli!!!

The house was a great base!
by AndreaMy family and I had a brilliant vacation at Oli’s place. It was close by to everything we wanted including Disney, grocery stores and restaurants. The house was a great base for our trip and the kids absolutely loved the frozen and Mario themed rooms. The adults found their rooms really comfortable as well. We were able to order food a few nights and enjoy it sitting outside by the pool which we really liked. The kitchen and laundry room had everything we could need.
Oli was an excellent host. Really responsive and helpful. He gave great information and also helped us out with renting a stroller for our trip made our vacation so much easier.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental close to Disney.
